The music jazz project PAN TAU - X was initiated by drummer, percussionist and performer Uli Soyka. It serves as a platform for creativity in the jazz circuit. in the course of time, a group of musicians gathered around Uli Soyka and performs in austria and abroad, using the same name for the project, though working on constantly changing musical topics. Occasionally, selected international guest musicians are invited to join the band.
This creative platform project has been - and in the future will be - crossing the borders of the realms of different art-forms. (music, photography, dance performances, film, language.....) the limits circumscribe a wide and varying expause of musical ground – up until the threshold! most of the pieces are written by the musicians of PAN TAU X, though references to existing repertoire are neither shunned nor unwelcome.


All that is pleasant must be played.
